my album through windows is now available on bandcamp. this means the album can be downloaded in higher quality digital formats, including FLAC, OGG and ALAC.

bandcamp has put up a monthly limit on free downloads, after which all tracks and albums automatically become paid downloads only. however, you can choose the amount you wish to pay yourself.

trip-hop.net is an online community of french speaking people who love trip-hop in all its forms and assets. its active members keep a keen eye on new releases from independant artists, and so have discovered many excellent downtempo albums released in 2010. the 2010 trip-hop.net selection is a compilation of the best tracks from these artists, selected and weighed with great care and voted on by the entire community.

crookie is getting up in the world! one of my remixes (for hungarian lounge band ez a divat) has been personally selected by none other than famous producer kid loco to feature on his compilation of classic trip-hop tracks.

this compilation, aptly named trip-hop classics, is released as a double album. all tracks have been personally selected by kid loco and they range from classic tracks from established downtempo artists to new material from underground producers like myself :)

finally i've done it: i've actually finished a real and complete album! never thought it would happen, but here it is. :) the album is called 'through windows' and has been released simultaneously on the bankrupt recordings label and on budabeats netlabel. if you're familiar with my earlier release on budabeats titled 19/76, then this album might be somewhat of a surprise. since i'm not good in describing my own music i will quote the review of a very good friend of mine, who writes:

"...an album that has been 5 years in the making in which musical genres like soul, funk, hiphop and library music have been combined with modern downtempo beats and movie samples. his ambition is to focus on atmosphere and moody vibes, something that's become quite uncommon in modern day music. you can expect scratchy records, mysterious movie samples and a great talent for production, elements which have been praised already by many people involved in the downtempo scene."
